Clinical Directors Network, Inc. (CDN) is a nonprofit network of primary care clinicians in Community/Migrant Health Centers. CDN's mission is to provide and improve comprehensive and accessible community-oriented primary and preventive health care services for poor, minority, and underserved populations. CDN is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage the organization's accounting function, in coordination with the President/CEO and Chief Financial Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain bookkeeping records; prepare financial reports; monitor bank accounts.

Manage cash flow, receivables and government grants.

Provide information and advice to the board and senior management.

Participate in the budgeting process.

Prepare and file tax forms.
-
Co-manage employee benefits package and inventory control.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Solid accounting/bookkeeping skills.
-
A minimum of five years' experience in accounting or full-charge bookkeeping; or an associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting plus three years' experience.

Familiarity with Fund EZ or other (nonprofit) accounting software, as well as automated payroll services and online banking services.

The ability to ability to prepare full and accurate financial reports, analyze information and make sound decisions and recommendations to senior management.

Solid understanding of nonprofit accounting (Circular A-133, federal indirect cost rates, etc.), budgeting, contract management and grant reporting.

Excellent judgment, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
