POSITION DESCRIPTION
Exciting opportunity to provide clinical leadership to a rapidly expanding community health center. Medical Director sought for non-profit health center opened July 2006 in Port Richmond, Staten Island, NY. The center is currently expanding to operate two additional sites and a mobile medical van.
In addition to managing a panel of patients, the medical director provides leadership to physician and nursing staff, develops and manages the center’s QI plan, establishes and maintains medical policies and procedures, ensures compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies, and ensures coordination and integration of all onsite and referral services.
QUALIFICATIONS
NYS licensure BE/BC in a primary care service Minimum 3 years experience in clinical oversight/management in a relevant setting Demonstrated successes and expertise in a community setting
