Since 2000, CDN has provided clinicians, patients, and the general public with online learning and training via our webcast production services. Webcasts allow for live presentations over the Internet, with both audio and visual components. CDN webcasts permit clinicians and patients to learn and train online without having to leave their home or office.
How does it work?
Live audio is streamed via the Internet to webcast participants, who log-on to the webcast server using ther first and last name. Digital slides provide the visual component of CDN webcasts, offering more informational content than conventional video. Webcasts allow participants and presenters to create real-time interaction - questions answered by the presenter in real time, online chats, online breakout sessions, and audience polls (with instant results presented in graph form) are all interactive possibilities when conducting a CDN webcast.
CDN provides technical troubleshooting through the "Webcast Wizard," hosted by our webcast server provider, HorizonLive. The Webcast wizard helps participants detect their computers' configuration and provides help specific to the computer being used. System requirements include a java-script enabled browser, RealPlayer, Netscape or Internet Explorer version 3 or higher, all standard on most computers.
