  Session Goals:   The goal of this session is to acquaint health care professionals with the components and functioning of state workers’ compensation systems.
  Learning Objectives:  

By the end of this session, health providers will:

- Learn four obstacles impeding migrant and seasonal farmworkers from securing workers’ compensation benefits.

- Understand five elements which are necessary to support a claim for benefits.

- Become familiar with the three ways in which health professionals can help migrant and seasonal farmworkers secure workers’ compensation benefits.
