  Session Goals:   The goals of this session are to: • acquaint Migrant Health Centers (MHCs) to the contents they should include in their Emergency Preparedness Plans (EP) and • the types of disaster relief available to migrant and seasonal farmworkers.
  Learning Objectives:  

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:

1. identify the main components required for an Emergency Preparedness Plan;

2. identify at least five (5) types of benefits that are available to farmworkers in case of a disaster; and

3.  identify three (3) types of disaster relief benefits that are only available to U.S. citizens and some legal residents.
