Session Goals: |
|
Presenters will describe the role of outreach and promotor(a) programs in community health centers and will present effective models for integrating clinical, outreach, and promotor(a) programs. They will discuss how outreach staff and promotores(as) can play a critical role in assessing the needs of the local farmworker community, providing culturally and linguistically appropriate health education to farmworkers, and evaluating the effectiveness of health center programs, both in terms of access to care and clinical outcomes. |
