Perhaps no aspect of the Health Center oral health program engenders more questions than financial management. There are many myths, assumptions, and opinions about how Health Center oral health programs are funded, from where the operating income derives, and how patients are charged for services.  To be effective in operating Health Center oral health programs, understanding basics of financial management is the key.  After attending this webinar session, one should be able to:

·         Explain some common Health Center financial terms;

·         Understand some basic financial tools used in running a successful oral health program;

·         Understand some of the financial advantages of working in a Health Center; and

·         Locate additional helpful resources, including NNOHA’s Health Center Operations Manual.
