Webcast Production
CDN webcast production includes the transfer, editing, and uploading of the visual component of the presentation to the webcast server. Production also includes the creation of a digital registration page, the creation of a digital webcast evaluation form, a facilitator for the live webcast, digital tracking of participants and registrants, demographic information of registrants, and digital tracking of online discussions. Webcasts can include live interaction with the audience through the “chat” function, online break-out sessions, audience surveys or polls done in real time (with instant results presented in graph format) and website displays in real time. Live webcasts can be done on-site as part of in-services, staff meetings, and trainings and can be conducted in any language. Webcast presenters can conduct webcasts from any location with a touch-tone telephone.
Webcast production also includes the creation of a final report with information on the number of registrants, number of participants, geographical location of registrants, demographic information of registrants, and tracking of archive participants. Evaluation of the content, faculty, and media presented is also included in the evaluation.
Digital Archive Production
Because CDN has the capability to digitally archive live webcasts, individuals are able to view CDN webcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, should they miss the live event. Creation of webcast archives includes the transfer of webcast(s) to the digital archives and hosting on the CDN server for up to 24 months with unlimited access. Webcast archive production also includes digital tracking of archive participants.
CD-ROM Production
CDN provides CD-ROM production services, through which archived webcasts can be downloaded to CD-ROM to create webcasts in portable format. CD-ROMs can include the webcast archive(s) and resource (“tool-kit”) materials for providers or patients. Past tool-kits have included printable clinical guidelines, informational brochures, newsletters, and website links to additional clinical or patient resources. CD-ROM production includes the download of archived webcast(s) to CD-ROM format and CD jewel cases. Production can also include design of CD-ROM front insert (cover of the CD), on-disc printing, as well as the creation, production and download of digital clinical or patient (“tool-kit”) materials such as PDFs, practice guidelines, MS Word documents, website links, forms, and others resources. CDN can provide Continuing Medical/Dental/Pharmacy Education credits for live webcasts, webcast archives, and CD-ROMs. CME/CDE services includes the preparation of the application for CME/CDE credit (including preparation of learning objectives and timeline) and the creation of online CME/CDE evaluation forms for CME/CDE credit.
Marketing Services
Webcast marketing includes the creation of listserve advertisements (the CDN listserve, in combination with our webcast host’s listserve, together reach approximately 3000 individuals in the health care industry, including clinicians, non-profit organizations, and pharmaceutical companies). CDN also creates online registration modules which can be sent as links in the body of e-mail messages, allowing participants to easily register for webcasts. Webcast marketing can also include creation of print advertisements, fax broadcasts, website advertising, and other marketing strategies.
Podcast Production
CDN can provide you with .mp3 versions of the webcast audio so your target audience has the opportunity to listen to the session “on-the-go” with any standard MP3 player. Coupling that with the ability to have a printed version of the PowerPoint slides, participants can get a full understanding of the session without having to be at a computer screen.
