Understand that the healthcare industry’s drive towards Value Based Reimbursement, with simultaneous emphases on quality improvement, better access to care, and cost control, can be in sync with most clinicians’ aspirations. Successful alignment of organizational objectives with clinician incentive programs is achievable and ever more important in an increasingly accountable practice environment.

Review the basic design principles behind creating a pay-for-performance program, using Open Door as an example. 3.
