Attendees will learn about how EHR data and state Medicaid data can be linked and used in policy-relevant research, and will hear about several examples of how such linked data have been used in the context of several NIH-funded data-only studies. Attendees will also learn about potential challenges to conducting research in such datasets.

1. Increase knowledge of the potential research uses of linked EHR-Medicaid claims data 2. Increase knowledge of potential pitfalls in such research 3. Increase knowledge of how parents and their children can be linked within such administrative datasets
